I have 5 dogs.... and you know you'll take this little one.
Do what I did for one of mine. I told my h she would be staying and I wasn't sure if I would be keeping her or not.
Or just bring him home and see how long it takes you h to notice.
Or you can explain the situation and that you want to help out your daughter for awhile. ( a loooooooooooooooooong while
)
Five is a bit more work than four, of course - but not much. You just have to go through the whole "welcome home and where does this one fit in" thing with the other dogs.
