I am picking him up to take him into the other rooms because there's no way he'd go otherwise. My bedroom is upstairs and since he can't climb stairs, I have to carry him. A few days ago I tried to get him to come check out the stairs (not even walk on them, just smell them, etc) and he got all scared and ran to his bed. For this same reason we can't go on walks. He's too afraid to go anywhere. People keep telling me it's just because he's a puppy, but I've never a puppy like this.

We had visitors that came by to see him today and he wagged his tail when he saw them but he was too afraid to let them pet him or anything. I gave them treats to give him and he very cautiously took one from them, but he never played the entire time they were here. He just stayed right beside his bed because that's where he feels safe.
