This happened to Gracie a couple of times when she was a puppy. We thought she might have landed wrong running down the stairs or something. In puppy school, I learned that puppies get growing pains just like people do, especially the larger breed dogs. I took Gracie to the vet who found nothing wrong, and suggested it might be either a strain or growing pains. Each time Gracie was back to normal within a couple of days. I would not worry too much as long as your baby is putting weight on its leg and there is no obvious sign of injury. Hope baby feels better soon!
