Default Comfort Zone...

Tucker has really come around since I got him. He's 16 weeks old today and a normal puppy - playing and running around - and I am SO happy about that. The problem comes when we try to go anywhere outside of his comfort zone. He's very comfortable in the living room and the yard outside my house, but that's it. He starts shaking all over and whining if I take him to any other room in the house or even if I put him on the couch in the living room. I don't want him to be unhappy so after waiting 5 or 10 minutes for him to calm down (and he doesn't) I usually take him back to his little area. I always take his blanket and favorite toys when I try to introduce him to new areas and I give him a treat, but he's so scared he wont even look at any of it.

Anyone have any ideas?
