It probably is what's causing the stomach upset. A couple of years ago, a friend's male yorkie became very ill from eating cat poo. Beau was hospitalized 3 days because of it

Since you've blocked his access, your baby's problems should resolve themselves quickly since he'll no longer be able to get to his "fix" of cat poo
