If she wants more food she's either 1. not getting the nutrition she needs or 2. her system is digesting the food too quickly (empty stomach) and wants to fill up more often (how do you feel when your belly is empty?).
Why are you switching from Royal Canin? I feed mine a mixture of a few different foods and have no problems at all, one of the foods I include is RC.
In fact one boy I used to foster showed up with "a sensitive system" and within a few weeks of being on the "mixture" he was "regular and normal".
