I have read that an average Yorkie litte is usally 1 or two pups... but after visiting the YT Nursery, I have seen a lot of litters of 4 and 5 puppies. What determines the size of the litter...Age, size of dog, times they tied? Or are litters of 4 to 5 pups pretty common... I have my female due with her first litter in Dec 12 and she doesnt look pregnant at all except for her belly is a little bigger than before...I'm just wondering if she doesnt look big maybe cuz she only has 1 or two, or do they start really showing during the last week or pregnancy?
