A health stud can only fertilize the eggs that are ovulated...he may fertizile 6 and 4 implant and survive to whelping or all 6...or only one. Some bitches produce large litters no matter who they are bred with..others can be bred to a well proven stud and have one...most of my girls average out to a pattern in number...but some will have 5 and the next time 2...what I am saying is this, many things influence a litter and there is little way to predict...just a matter of averages. |
