We have had our Yorkie with a "furbaby sitter". She loves animals, does the doggie day care in her home and we paid $25.00 per day. It was really great, she has 3 furbabies herself and may watch several others at the same time. It was good for Lily because she got to play with the others - she only keeps the little ones so no worry about being around BIG scary creatures. I have inquired with some of the kennels, vets, and groomers that advertise boarding and found that they leave the animals at the close of business and someone checks on them sometime in the middle of the night but basically are left alone in cages. Not what I want for my baby.
