My Bengi has marked a few times lately in the table legs. I caught him and got mad, said no, no and he always runs and hides when I get mad at him. He hasn't done it since he's last episode like 2 days ago. I think it really make him sad that he upset hubby and me. Hopefully he'll understand that's not ok. He lifts his leg a little when he pees in his litter box, but lately for some reason he's been having accidents on #1 and #2. Maybe is just a phase, but I'm making sure I'm letting him know I don't like that. Just but saying No! Bad Boy! he gets sad and then he tries to make it up by kissing me all over. But if I ignore him when he tries to kiss me (which is soooo hard :rolleyes) he know he really messed up, or that's what I think...
