Same over here in England too!
In fact I bought one about 6months ago and sold it a few weeks ago with extended warrenty and stuff... would you believe that the week I was trying to buy a Wii I really struggled to find a store that had one in stock but they ALL had stock of the PS3 and it was the PS3's release week!!!! Go figure!
