If you pay alot then some sort of paperwork should be included even if it's just used as a birth certificate for you. To me, that includes any other registry like CKC. Everyone knows AKC is the best, that goes without saying.
It's just a choice I think a lot of people feel that any papers are better than none. If you saw two dogs, priced the same and one came with papers and they were both equally cute, I think the majority would go for the papers. If only to prove ownership.
I do agree, even AKC has been compromised though with unethical breeders. |
If you've been had by an AKC breeder then you have the choice of another registry, AKC is the best but no one is perfect.
