i just realized that i never posted a follow up to this thread. Since i posted this, Dexter has not vomited at all!
i did take him to another vet which i liked less than the first one
but she also said that i should have nothing to worry about. i was all set to log when, where, why he was vomiting but thankfully he stopped! thanks to everyone for their input and ideas!
