Hi and welcome! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it really is essential that the litter remain together to 10 weeks at least. We keep ours to 12. Yes, they can be 'fine', but socialization development will be affected. Ask how many people who got their pups early had problems with behavior/ biting? If you can convince the breeder it will help not just your pup, but the others as well. I would also mention your concern about the kids handling of the pups, though they may take offense. |
