Mention to the vet your concerns and see if they have any thing to offer you about what to do or how to prevent reactions. When Cali had a reaction to her 2nd set of shots (she screamed when I picked her up and seemed like she was in pain for awhile. I mentioned it to my vet and she said she would give her some new oral spray (I think it was) fthat would help her with the pain afterwards. SHe has not had any problems since with shots. I would make sure you have Benydryl at home in case of a reaction. I know some people stay at the vet for an hout after to make sure no complications. I am sure he will do fine but definatley mention your concerns to the vet.
