in my opinion, the growth chart is accurate about half the time and if you are using the one on YorkiePassions website, you must remember that the chart was made for Kimberly's line and her dogs. All bloodlines do not grow the same. When i got Ceeby, the breeder told me he would n't get over four pounds. he went so far off the growth chart when he had his spurts, that i thought I had a Great dane size yorkie. Then at about six months old, he settled right in and weighs 4 lbs at two years old. Sometimes he even weighs less than that but never over. He stopped growing about six months. |
