I tried doing it a few times. I have trimmed my cats nails for years, never a problem. But with Gracie, no matter how careful I was she ended up a bloody mess. Even my vet had problems, says she has a long quick. So, I finally gave up and decided to let the groomer do it. We are all much happier, and the groomer has never had a problem with Gracie's nails bleeding!
