Default Introducing myself... and the arriving puppy!

Hi all! I've been lurking around here for a couple weeks now, so I figured it was about time to introduce myself. In two weeks, I will be the proud owner of my first Yorkie puppy! This will be my first time owning a small dog - we've been a doberman family before! (Don't worry though, they were the lap dog type of doberman - totally spoiled!) I'm so excited to get my puppy, of course! I've been learning a lot just from reading the threads here!

Anyway, about the puppy. It's a little boy, and so far he is definitely the chunky one of the litter! He almost looks as wide as he is long, haha! I've visited him at 2, 4, and 6 weeks, and I should be able to bring him home at 8 weeks. Which kind of leads me to a question - I've read that for Yorkie's they should be kept up to 12 weeks before going to the new owner. But I've read some things on here about people having them at 8, so is it all right? I know the breeders actually have some young children, and I'm a bit worried that the boys are rough with the puppies, so I think it might be best to get him as early as I can (plus, I just want him as early as I can! ) Anyway, we're still trying for a name, but so far Bailey is winning out. Any other suggestions would be great, though! We've also thought about Max (Maximus), Duke, and a few others that escape my mind.

I'm going to try to attach a picture, so hopefully it works. I look forward to chatting with you all in the future!
