 Grain vs Grainless
I really appreciate your comments. The reason you gave for feeding grainless was so very helpful to me. I am going to go along with you and feed a high quality commercial food and would like to know what you might suggest for two male yorkies, age 6. One of these had a UTI/struviate crystals and is currently eating ( picking at) Royal Canin Urinary SO that the vet recommended he eat to clear up this problem. I want to take him off of this in just a few days when he finishes the antibotic (Baytril 22.7 m.....one half tablet daily.
I would like to put both my babies on the same dry food. What should the protein level be? Is a fiber level of about 4% OK.
