I have a condo on Marco and I agree that the Marriott is really nice. They just re-did it and the new pool is amazing. You can get your own private cabana. Very cool!! However, outside of the Marriott they do roll in the sidewalks early on Marco. Even I wish there was more to do on Marco in the evenings and I'm a lot older than you.
The last time I was in Marco (September) there was a lot of road construction going on, which was a big pain in the butt. They might be finished by now but I doubt it - I can find out for sure if you need me to.
Of course, Naples is nearby and there is always something to do in Naples but I wouldn't consider it very spring-break-like. If you are going to relax, it's great and you can have lots of fun without even leaving the Marriott. They have a couple of nice clubs right on the beach.
Oh and there is usually a fun crowd in the evening at the Esplanade and Cap'n O'Brien's has a comedy club now. PM me if you need more info about anything on Marco.
