My fiance's mom was really bad into meth when we first got together. It took her about a year to decide that she wanted to change and get better. She has been meth free for about 2 years. It feels like you are fighting an uphill battle the whole way. this drug is an aweful thing. It has changed his mother so much that she isn't even the same person. it breaks my heart because in a sense kevin has lost his mother. My only wish is that we would have been able to help her sooner, before it had gotten as bad as it did. On the other hand she had to make the decision to be helped before any change could happen. I am glad that your husband wants to change.
I hate that you are having to deal with such an aweful situation. You and your family are in our prayers.
