I remember seeing a study once that ranked dog breeds based on several different measures of intelligence. Yorkies scored quite a bit above the median-- 27th out of 79 breeds that they ranked-- including outscoring several "working" dog breeds that are usually considered very bright and trainable.
That woman has no clue what she is talking about.
