Biting is what they do as puppies and often just to play. You dont have to hit him, just talk to him. Be very firm when you tell him NO! Also, I read that you can try closing your fist when he's trying to bite your fingers. They tend to back off a little when you do that (at least Meka did). Dont get me wrong, she's 8 mo's now and she still plays like that... I dont mind when her "play" bites, but when she gets into it - I say OUCH (to let her know and she'll be more gentle) or if she's still doing it, the firm NO always works
