I think you'll find the link below pretty helpful. I've spent most of my life in Chicago minus the past year It is definitely dog friendly, especially to small dogs. Hope you have a good time! Just make sure you have warm clothes for your little one since it's already cold and with the wind in the city, it gets to be a lot. I'm taking my little guy there for Thanksgiving
