Some breeders do not find the stricter rules of the AKC something they see as necessary to protect the breed..I do. At some point a breeder has to take a stand and if the breeder has examined each registry and sincerely deemed it best for the protection of the breeder, then stand by your decision, whether we agree or not.
Some registries will allow registration with a photo and letter from a vet stating the dog is purebreed..that is a total joke. I have seen Morkies and Yorkiepoo's who were correct Yorkie color, ears erect and no visible signs of being mixed... |
