Runts generally do not have any more problems than the others and often, don't stay the smallest. I had two tiny ones in my last litter and both are doing great and i consider, I had no runt since I had two. you do have to watch the smaller puppies closerr and make sure they are eating and etc. You also might need to get a harness or collar with a small bell on it to let you know where she is all the time and not underfoot.
