| My vet never said anything either....it was on here that I heard plenty about it, and I had already bred her, but she re-absorbed, or it didn't take. I had always understood it was 5 years...hopefully if your dog is expecting the vet can check to see that she will pass the pups ok....they do an x-ray around day 56, so they can see how many and how big....Tammy was 4 and a half pounds...and Casper 4lbs, so if your female is say 7lbs and you have a small male, then the vet will check and hopefully there will be no huge pups in there.
I hope it goes ok....ask if she can be speyed during any c-section if it's needed....and me, I would just get the other one done now, as the preg. one will be very vicious protecting her pups with the other female, and that female will be very jealous of her puppies !
Whatever you decide...I am sure with the Vet behind you it will be ok...go with your heart, and take his advice
You may find that it is very hard and very worrying giving up those puppies if she has any.....I was going to keep all of them Debra x x x x
....check on breeder section...there is loads of good advice and help.
