Ag! I can just feel myself drooling at the thought - a summer braai under that amazing African sky. Don't even get me started on how I miss my Boerewors... and S.A. chocolates....... and Ouma's Rusks..... and my ........ the list just never ends, even after more than 20 years here.
For my Yankee pals:
Braai = Barbeque
Boerewors = a type of sausage that is just tooooo delicious for words.
Ouma's rusks = better than a biscotti
African sky = well you just have to see it to believe it.
Can you tell how much I miss it all?? Once Africa enters your soul, it never leaves.....
