A friend of mine has a Maltese, and my ex boyfriend had one too. They are sooo cute! I've read that Maltese are calm, lap babies and somewhat the opposite of Yorkies personality wise. I was surprised to hear this, as my friend's Maltese is one of the most hyper dogs I've even seen! She can never sit still, and doesn't like to be held for more than 30 seconds. My Mocha on the other hand, is very calm and laid back. He loves to be held and cuddled, he is a true lap dog. I don't remember too much about my ex's Maltese, as I dated him a long time ago.
