I had a doll that I adored...it was a "Chrissy" doll and she was rather large, vinyl chubby body with moving arms and legs and had dark red hair with a string on her back that made her pony tail grow short. I loved her. My grandmother got her for me in the early 70's. Someone in my distant family has ended up with her because she was being stored at a close relatives house on display on a bed in an extra bedroom where my grandma was living at the time. When my close relative passed away suddenly, the "vultures" were all in the house and my doll disappeared. It was very unfortunate that it had to happen that way.
I've searched around from time to time to try to find another but haven't had much luck. It would never be the same as having my original anyway I guess. |
