I know that CF is a lot like Fybromyalgia (which I was diagnosed with 15 years ago). Exercise is a must even if you have to drag yourself out of bed for it. You absolutely must keep the muscles limber. Although I teach yoga and pilates regularly, there are days my body aches terribly. But, I have found if I take time off the pain is even worse when I'm not exercising.
I would start with some gentle stretches and then ease yourself into something like Tai Chi. Hope you feel better soon.
