I love making the tied fleece blankets. My dogs and ferret love them! I have Bichons and my favorite blanket was one that was white on one side and black on the other with a white Bichon applique on the black side. The fringe was really pretty in black and white. I just made one that's half-bed size with three Disney princesses on it for my granddaughter's bed. I can't knit a stitch, but can manage the tied blankets. It's great that we all have different talents!
