 Give it time!
Time, time, time. He will outgrow so much. Just offer him chewies and toys instead of fingers and toes. And if he's getting insane, tell him "Uhuh" in a deep, low, but NOT loud tone, and turn your back on him and ignore him for a few seconds. Now, when he allows cuddling and DOESN'T bite, he needs a HUGE REWARD! Some bite of yummy, or a sweet praiseful voice.
He WILL outgrow it, and you'll be saying "Remember when..??"
