This "Breeder" and I say that loosely is an idiot. I am speaking from experience. We took our Bella at 5 weeks. She was extremely enemic and we almost lost her. We had to bottle feed etc. She is now almost four yrs. old and she has some issues from not being weaned properly. It is very very wrong to sell a puppy so young. Your pup should not be leaving the mom until atleast 10 weeks and preferably 12 weeks. I'm really not sure what else to say to you. I'd tell you to make them keep your pup longer, but from your post it really appears that this person could care less. The best thing for to do if you intend on taking this pup so young, is to take him or her right to the vet and work very closely with the vet in assuring your pup is getting enough nurishment etc. Best of luck.
