I agree. Thank you for saying it in such a nice way. My breeder is a farm girl who happens to be the vice pres of the company my dad is the pres. of. When she started this she was a lowly human resources officer. Anyway... her mother in law lives nxt door to her... she stay at home... takes care of the dogs during the day... Christy comes home... takes care of dogs... horses... after a long day at work. She makes excellent money as the vp of a major company...she does this for the love of the breed and of puppies she has had their great grand parents. I am trying to get her to sell on the internet so that she doesn't do that... but for now she is too tired to deal w/ people like some of these on here. She cries when she puts down any dog. She holds them til they are gone. Each dog is loved... their personality is recognized and they are not just left in cages all day. They live on a farm... they have built cover play areas.... different areas for puppies and adults...male and females... it is amazing. She is able to do this because she has had her in-laws right there. Under any other circumstance she couldn't breed. Someone is always w/ her dogs.... they are NEVER alone! She got into the business to try to put puppy mills out of business. If a pet store can get one through a broker from her... and it is healthy... and the same price as a puppy mill... they do... so little by little her work hurts the mills. I don't know what difference it makes if a breeder deals w/ a broker or not as long as the breeder follows through... knows they are taken care of... and she is a good responsible breeder. But if I had my rathers... I wouldn't do it that way. Since I know her... I know how it is.... and I know how great she is. The only way I could prove it to you all is by references... meeting my dogs... that kind of thing... which most of you can't do... I welcome any that can. And anyone near arkansas.... let me know... I will take you to the kennel next time I am down there.... fine by me. This facts are why I go out of my way to be more honest than most... I tell you everything ... good and bad... which may lose me sales... but means better homes for the babies.
