Congratulations on your new baby
he is very young, so you will have to be his mommy for real. You need to get his feeding schedule just right, and his shot records too. You shouldn't let anyone else handle him until he has his first series of shots. Many larger dogs can go to their forever home sooner than these little guys; but with good advice from a vet, careful care, lots of loving and gentle affection; and good common sense ( not to mention all the great advise you will get here) the two of you will be fine.
