We have a daughter in College.. I know she would have gone nuts if she did not have her dog. She has even said so. She has classes and also works part time. And that is the most spoilt rotten dog I have seen...

I agree with the post above....You two look together and let her pick her "present" out. She sounds pretty level headed from what you have said... Good Luck on what you decide...
