Cathi, you are going to be fine hon...I still say 6 weeks, but, as long as he's eating and drinking.. just make sure you have some honey or karo syrup on hand...I've always had my dogs at 6 weeks and never had a problem out of them..the vets around here all say 6 weeks, and I find they all pretty much know what they're talking about...Myself, I like getting them at 6 weeks, it's always worked out really well for me...if he's eating and drinking, don't worry about the honey or karo syrup, but, if he's lethargic, then give him some and get him to your vet..check and make sure he's got teeth..you may want to soften his food with some water, feed him 3-4 times a day..good luck hon..
