I think I missed all the drama but after reading here it all sounds so sad. I'm so sorry for her and her babies that everything went down the way it did here and I pray that she getts it all worked out without rehoming them. That sick baby will need her and will only be thrown out of sorts and stressed to be rehomed now.

As far as not having a pet if you can't afford the unexpected emergencies that may come up...well, all I can say is that life is ever changing and while you may be in a place to cover those things when you get your pet doesn't mean that a few yaers down the road your life will still be in that same position. I have 2 furbabies and was in more than a good position to care for thier every need and then some a year ago but if we had an emergency right now I don't know what I would do. Sometimes life throws you curves and many times you just can't know what's around the corner or if you will be able to handle it.

My thoughts and prayers are with her and her babies...
