I got my yorkie (Chloe) when I was in College and she was very well taken care of...I think with her really wanting one and having already contributed to taking care of yours, she'll probably do well with a little one! Your know your daughter best and if you think she's a responsible young woman than I would say go for it! I did and she's the love of my life and definitely kept me from being so home sick!
