 We Won!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!
Hi guys. Just wanted to thank all of you for your good thoughts. WOW, what a day. The boys took the 2007 U.S.A.B.L. Championship. I'm so proud of them and I guess I'm going to sound like a bragging mom but I have to add that my son Nick (The catcher) got the last out of the game ending it and winning. A boy from the other team was on 3 rd. base and tried a delayed steal to get home and Nick nailed him out at the plate, ending the game 7-1 in victory for the Wildcats. I was really thrilled because my mom who is terminal was able to come out and watch Nick's game. We bundled her up and put her in a wheel chair and I have tears as I'm writing this, I'm just thrilled she was able to come and see this. All through the years she's never missed a game up until she became terminal. Thanks again for everyone's good thoughts. Elaine |
