It makes me so sad to see all the animals in shelters. I know this is a website where alot of people have bought their yorkies and I totally understand why. I would buy one myself because they are such good dogs. But I adopted mine, he doesnt have a register or anything, just himself. He looks like a yorkie and our vet said he was, but I dont care what he is, I just know that he is wonderful and loving and amazing. While the puppy mills are very sad, I wish there were more people who would adopt. I just wanted to take all the dogs home from the pound when I saw them in there (of course im not financally secure enough to do so) What makes me more sad than seeing dogs in petsmart or somewhere is the dogs in the shelter. I know they try to take good care of them but sometimes some of the dogs get abandoned. My puppy was getting peed and pooed on. I cried when we left because I couldnt take him right away because the shelter has to wait so long to see if the real owners will come back to get him. They didnt and I got him. But I wish more people would look into adopting. I feel so blessed to have him in my life. I feel like I will always adopt because there are so many dogs that need rescuing. Sorry for rambling, this just made me think of the pound.
