what are potential reasons for a dog not eating? he hasn't really ate much of anything in the last 4 days or so, and this isn't anything new. he has these periods where he just starts starving himself and eventually eats again. as you could guess, he is pretty skinny. he should probably weigh 8 pounds on his frame but he's closer to 6. you can feel his ribs pretty well and his hip bones are pretty sharp too. we don't switch his food. we also feed him once a day, when we get home from work. we'd feed him in the morning too, but we don't have time to wait for him to need to go outside to defecate and that would hurt our year-long
quest to potty train him.
ideas?
