He is doing OK, at times he scratches the crate or whines to be let out, which is good. But after each nap or feeding or watering I take him out, he PEES about 20 times a day and poops about 5. I have never known a dog to poop so much and only eat two times a day . But he has only messed once in the house in about two weeks. I dont let him run free, I cofine both to the washroom and only after they have both done their business.

Do you think it is WISE to lift him each time he has to leave the house? As when we do not, he pees. I am wondering if he will know that this is the way out if we keep lifting him? I guess they have bigger bladders?
