 Poem Dedicated To Mill Busters!
I’m not as talented as everyone else on YT, but I truly felt compelled and inspired to write a poem in support of Yorkie Talk’s sister website, Mill Busters. Everyone on YT has been so riled up recently to stop puppy mills …. we’re all on FIRE! I really love YT’s positive spirit. A big THANK YOU to every YT member for being so dedicated to help rescue puppy mill dogs!
Alone in the darkness, sick and cold
Live millions of puppies, always alone
No one to love them, no one who cares
No one to wash away their endless tears
Living on wire, with dirt at their feet
Having no food, nothing to eat
The moans and the wails, the crying and pain
All for the rotten puppy millers gain
One day we’ll stop you dead in your tracks
And make you pay for your inhuman acts
We’ll lock you in a cage, covered in filth
The stench of urine and feces will make you wilt!
We’ll throw you outside in the sweltering heat
With no water to refresh you and nothing to eat
You’ll spend your days in the blistering sun
Oh boy, won’t that be so much fun?
You’ll be trapped in your cage in the pouring rain
And be bred again and again for the financial gain
Then we’ll deny you vaccines and meds when you’re sick
And when you cry, we’ll beat you with rods and jagged sticks
You’ll live in a cage your entire life
And always suffer misery and strife
You’ll cower in a corner, blind, deaf and lame
Why should we care about your pain?
Beware puppy millers, we know who you are
You can run but you won’t get very far!
Beware brokers and pet shops too
Because we’re also coming after you!
Heed our words and remember our plea
We’ll put an end to every puppy mill dogs misery
So go slither and crawl like a snake in the grass
