I decided when I got my first yorkie, Latte, that I would groom her myself. I got a video and some books and I keep her in a somewhat non-professional puppy cut. I also really trim her booty and shave her ears. all I had to do was buy a beard timmer and some nice sharp hair shears. We think she looks great, and it's free. I only pay $5 to have her nails trimmed at the vet.
