Finally, after all these years of searching for the perfect bootie, a friend made me some this year to my specifications for Eddie. They have a fleece liner, a nylon inner shell and a water-resistant denim on the outside. They attach at the top with Velcro, and I keep them snug but not constrictively so. I still have to keep an eye on them to make sure they don't fall off. In fact, Jack lost one today, but he had an older set.
