Skippy stopped nipping at our ankles and socks after a while. I think it's something your puppy will grow out of and someday you will tell someone the same thing I'm telling you- just be patient. He's a baby. Also- if your guests don't want him on top of him, maybe play from a chair or couch? I'm sure the puppy doesn't understand why you get on the ground to their level then not want them.
