I remember watching a special on tv several years ago (or maybe last year??) about a family who tried to live a year without paying anything imported (not just from China, but China being the main one)....and another family trying to buy products strictly from their state....as you can imagine the one trying to buy strictly from their state, didn't make it long...the one trying not to buy from China...did okay...but it was HARD...they gave up a lot of stuff, which caused a lot of stress, etc. It was crazy!
