Tara 7.5yrs, 4lbs, only shakes when it's bath-time even though she loves the hairdryer....I've had her since 6 weeks and she has the best behaviour and disposition as she was taught well.

Casper 5yrs, 4lbs, shakes for food, the vaccume cleaner, at other dogs he sees, at bathtime, and with some strangers....he is a big wooss ! I got him at 19 months.

Tammy 4 yrs, 4lbs, shakes and skunks off when she needs out for pee pee and goes all flat and cheesey on the floor...and she also shakes when we are going to go in the car(nervous) and at bath-time. I have only had her a year (from age 3)and she was mis-treated and had to be taught toilet training and just about everything else, so she is good considering !

They just need their Mummy to hold them, wee babies ! s

I also have a Bearded Collie - my hubby's dog - and she shakes at her shadow ! (fire-works, lorries, dustbins, washing machine, vaccume, pan-cupboard, etc).....but loves baths ! Strange beast ! ....she is too highly bred a show-dog....never again ! We had one before for 12 years and she was an angel, but Tasha now 6 has been very nervous from the day we got her.....we think she wasn't socialised properly before 12 weeks, the optimum time, though the breeders made out they were very knowledgable. We got first pick and chose her at 3 weeks and she was the pick of the litter, (they wanted to keep her for showing) but we didn't get her until she was 13 weeks and we don't think they took her out and about at all. We have got her a bit improved, but she will always be a nervous dog.

That is totally different shaking to the Yorkie shaking which is more - "Mummy....be good to me !"
